It's time we were connected.

Victoria's fastest-growing community still has no train station. Let's change that.

BUILD BEVERIDGE
  STATION

WHY NOW?

The land is there.
The people are here.
The time is now.

Infrastructure must keep pace with growth. Not follow it. We have the evidence, the space and the people. We need the station now, not 20 years from now.

Land is ready for development

Community demand is high

Strategic growth planning

Direct rail connection needed

Our community is growing

Thousands of new residents are moving into Beveridge. The infrastructure needs to keep up.

WHY WE NEED IT

The case for Beveridge Station

Four reasons the case is already clear.

No direct rail connection

Beveridge is Victoria's fastest growing suburb and needs a train station of its own.

Boosts access. Builds futures.

A station means better access to jobs, education, healthcare and opportunity for the whole region.

Better for people. Better for our region.

More public transport means less congestion, lower emissions and a better connected community.

ABOUT THIS CAMPAIGN

Council-led. Community-facing.

This is a community-driven advocacy campaign initiated by Mitchell Shire Council. We're committed to ensuring our growing community has the infrastructure it needs to thrive, starting with the delivery of Beveridge Train Station.

While Council provides the platform and resources for this campaign, its success belongs to the people of Beveridge. Your voices, signatures and stories are what will move the needle at the State Government level.

The project is part of Council's broader Advocacy Plan to secure essential services and infrastructure for our region. Read Council's full advocacy plan.

OUR POSITION

Mitchell Shire Council remains strictly non-partisan in all its advocacy efforts. Our focus is solely on the needs of our residents, regardless of which party is in power.

We will work with all levels of government and all sides of politics to achieve the best outcomes for our community. Our goal is to secure a firm funding commitment for Beveridge Station.

Our message is simple:  Beveridge needs a station now, and we will continue to advocate until it is delivered.
